Hey, Rust! It can take a while for the black screen to go away. For Reach, you have to be patient and wait for it to fully load. I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the game if you are still having issues connecting to matchmaking. Let us know how that goes!

I just got your message. I've tried reinstalling the game but it won't work still. I also posted this problem on Halo Way point aswell and got a reply of one person having this problem. I've also hard reset the console as well but no luck. I'd also like to mention that the network options only show console and local connections. Another thing is that when I check my gamerscore for Reach on the one it shows no gamerscore for that game. But I still have my gamerscore showing on the Smartglass app. I'd appreciate if you or other staff could look into this problem as I think it only happenes for a small amount of people. I understand your schedule of having to deal with other issues posted by other users.

Hey there Rust in Peace95!

Sorry to that the issue is continuing to occur and that a new issue has popped up! Lets try a few additional steps to see if we can get the issue sorted:

First, Remove your account from your Xbox One console.
Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
Once your console has powered off, unplug the power cord.
Unplug the power cord to your router, modem or gateway.
Wait a few minutes and then plug in your console and your networking devices.
Power on your console and Download your account to your Xbox One console.

Give the suggested steps a try and let us know if you are able to see your gamerscore update and if you are able to connect to a match in Halo. Thanks!

Hey Rust,

Was Reach the first backwards compatible game you have ever tried?

Not a single BC has connected to Live for me, just like how you are describing and others have been experiencing this issue for months.

So go ahead if you want to try all those suggestions and complete their survey. There is no fix. I have wasted hours trying to figure this out.

Well the games that I have the are BC I haven't actually tried multi-player on them yet. So I could check to see if they work.

I went to see if I could play Gears of War online. It took awhile because I had to manually sign in which made the game froze. I signed in the second time and it allowed me to find a match.

I'm just worried that my console is broken. I know some people are having many of the same problems I'm having but it's been frustrating with these problems. I've only had the console for 8 months.

I finally am able to play matchmaking now. I went onto gears of War with my profile and went to versus. I just signed in and now Reach actually works now. Thanks for the suggestion and help guys. I appreciate it
