CBR: Audiences know Albert Wesker as this big bad villain from the video games and the cinematic franchise. In what ways is this prove either building on or differing from those versions?

Lance Reddick: The character in the series is very nuanced, but [there are] also several different facets to his character. Part of that is very much the Albert Wesker from the game. A large part of it is almost a different character, who is a loving father and still very high on the psychopath scale, but he has a conscience. In terms of his ambition and his ruthlessness, he'due south constantly juggling that with how much he loves his daughters and how much he wants to protect them, both from the Umbrella Corporation and from his own past.

Wesker works for the Umbrella Corporation. How agape is he of them and what they are actually doing?

Information technology depends on how much he is thinking about it. 1 of the things that is so interesting near playing this version of Wesker is how well he is able to compartmentalize. When push comes to shove, he doesn't want to become on his dominate Evelyn's train. Evelyn doesn't care about anything just power and wealth. She's most a complete psychopath. At the aforementioned time, she has made his life possible. It's this dysfunctional relationship that, on a deep psychological level, he can't sever. On i level, he'due south loyal to her. On the other level, he's terrified of her.

Kickoff of all, we like to call them infected, not zombies, in this bear witness because, technically, they are all the same live. I actually only saw one as Wesker this season. My favorite is one of the iconic infected from the game that Wesker is responsible for creating in the show.

You have John Wick 4 in the pipeline. What can y'all preview well-nigh the moving picture?

The only thing I can say is more than activity, and Donnie Yen is going to exist in it, and then it'due south going to exist bang-up.

Can director Chad Stahelski really squeeze more activeness in?

Man, if anybody can practice it, Chad can do it.
